Take-Two Interactive acquires Irrational Games
A Take-Two press release confirms rumors that were floating about today - Take-Two Interactive has indeed acquired Irrational Games. Irrational Games you may remember, is responsible for creating some of the best PC games in recent memory. Titles such as System Shock 2 and Freedom Force certainly come to mind. Irrational Games will join Take-Two under the 2K Games label.
The first title that will be published under the 2K Games label is none other than BioShock. A Next-gen Console and PC game that is a "sequel" of sorts to the System Shock universe, BioShock is already highly anticipated, and will be released in early 2007.
