Microsoft's Gates confirms no AMD Windows 64 until Q4
BILL GATES IS planning on showing off his soon-to-be new Windows products at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC), which starts in Seattle today. The conference is said to highlight new hardware, software and "industry opportunities" for the Windows platform.
Gates will be unveiling what Microsofts labels the future of Windows computing, alongside a Windows Home Concept PC which was developed with HPs help. The Windows Home Concept is a prototype featuring next gen hardware and software, apparently designed to deliver the "ultimate" entertainment and communication experience. Hmm, ok.
