New version of Windows planned for 2006
Microsoft Corp., world's largest software maker, announced yesterday that it will release the next version of Windows operating system, code-named Longhorn, in the second half of 2006. The company was unsure about Longhorn's release for quite some time, but seems to have reached a goal due to end-customer inquires.
